As a boy, our founding director Andy spent many years watching his grandfather hand-build furniture. He vividly remembers the smell of the wood varnish, shellac, wood shavings and linseed oil and it was that that first drew him in. Watching his grandfather at work he began to understand what could be achieved with natural materials and how they can be used to create items of real beauty. His passion for producing high quality furniture was born.

Today at Highfields at Home, we continue the family tradition. A thriving local business, we employ highly skilled craftsmen to create beautiful bespoke kitchens, comfortable and practical bedrooms and living rooms, as well as fully functional home offices – all designed to enhance the way you live and work.
