At Highfields at Home, we understand that the kitchen is the heart of the home. It’s more than just the place where you cook and enjoy great food and drink. It’s where the family meets, chats with friends over coffee, where kids sit down and do their homework and where people tend to congregate at parties.
Designed around your life
Before anything else we’ll talk to you about the kitchen that you want - how you use and the role it plays in your life. We have our own design team who can help you make the most of your kitchen within the budget you have. And as all our kitchens are bespoke and handmade, we can ensure the design works just for you.
We source wood from across Europe
To build high quality cabinets we use a mixture of English, German, Italian and Spanish boards, depending on the result we need to achieve and offer a wide range of finishes including matt, gloss, painted, lacquered or wood. We employ materials that give real quality and longevity, from market leading companies around the world such as Blum, Egger and Xylocleaf.
The colours and textures you love
In addition to a range of stock colour finishes, many of our fabulous designs are available in a choice of bespoke colours and textures to bring a more personalised feel to your new kitchen.
A range of incredible worktops
You can select from a wide range of stunning worktops in solid surface acrylic, glass, granite and quartz, as well as laminates and solid wood.
For example, it’s worth bearing in mind that wood, whilst beautiful, requires a deal of after-care. It that doesn't appeal, maybe you’d be better off with sealed granite. Solid surface acrylic also works well if you want to avoid absorption.
We hold samples of these worktops for you to view in our showroom. We can also advise on what would suit kitchens best, if you need inspiration or advice.
Sinks, taps and other details
A great kitchen is not just about the cabinets, we think of every other detail, too. We supply high quality sinks and taps from Caressi or 1810 but we can supply other brands if you have another preference. Throughout your kitchen we can fit modern or traditional products – again depending on what you want to achieve. We’ll discuss everything with you before we show you any designs.
Lighting and mood
We can also advise, supply and fit cabinet lighting and mood lighting for your kitchen, if you would like that to be part of your design brief to us.
Floors that impress
We can also recommend types of flooring and work with like-minded professional partners who will supply and fit whatever you’ve chosen.
Premium brand appliances
We always use premium brand appliance such as Bosch, Neff, Samsung and Siemens, but can fit other brands if you have a preference.
Disposal
If you wish we can dispose of your old kitchen – the units and appliances. Just let us know if you’d like us to quote for this additional service.
